The East End Food Hub is a collaborative partnership between Applegrove, the Leslieville Farmers’ Market, Nourish East End, and East End United Regional Ministry, supported by the City of Toronto.

Our mission is to increase access to fresh, local food, support emerging food businesses and entrepreneurs, teach essential food skills, and provide emergency food assistance to those in need. We envision a resilient and inclusive food system that prioritizes people and fosters community well-being.

The East End Food Hub is more than just a community venue—it’s where food, community, and connection come together. We host essential services like community programs, farmers’ market operations, food bank services, and spiritual gatherings, all working to strengthen our neighbourhood.

Bookable Spaces

 Do you need a space to cook, host an event, or run a community program? The East End Food Hub offers flexible, affordable spaces, including commercial kitchens, event venues, and food production resources, available at special rates for community groups and nonprofits.

The East End Food Hub acknowledges and recognizes the land that we are on, which is the traditional territory of many nations, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is still home to many Indigenous Nations from across Turtle Island, including First Nations, the Inuit and the Métis. We also acknowledge that Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit. In considering this history, we also acknowledge the deep impact of colonization on Indigenous peoples and the role played by industrial agriculture and our modern food system. We're committed to listening and learning. And improving our Indigenous-focused programs and land initiatives. We stand united with Indigenous communities and other groups who experience marginalization
